This is Justice?

Tracy and I went to a pre-trial conference this morning for the Honda. Basically we found that there is no justice in the law. The judge agreed it wasn't fair, but that by law we were responsible for the car we sold 5 years ago. He seemed to be chummy with the attorney out to get us. It made me think of the final judgement day. Will those two be able to stand before God and say they were honest in their dealings with their fellowmen? Who knows? What made me glad was the thought that those two would not be judging me and trying me in the final judgement. I will have a Father who knows the thoughts and intents of my heart. He will judge me with justice and mercy and love. And the best part? If I am found owing, my Savior will step forward and pronounce that he has paid the price, because He loves me. I am extremely grateful for Him and his loving sacrifice for me.

In another note, Brockton looked up at my calendar and said, "Jesus." He then looked out into the hall at the picture of Christ there and said "Jesus" again. He kept looking back and forth between the two pictures. He's a smartie!

And to the "Universe," I say, "I am ready for some GOOD luck!"

Warning: Please keep all sharp objects hidden from Mary Ann

Since I have to type this with one hand, I'll keep this short. If you ever see me with scissors very nicely ask me to hand them over. I am no longer capable of handling them safely. I cut my thumb pretty good Thursday morning. I had a hard time stopping the bleeding. You'd think I would have learned my lesson, but no, that afternoon, I cut the tip of my ring finger off. I should have stopped and looked for the tip, but I was bleeding too bad. Tracy took me to InstaCare where the dr. asked for the tip. Valery tried to find it for me but she couldn't. She's so sweet. So, the dr. had to try to stitch it closed with 3 stitches. Stacy had to take Jace to his choir concert for us. We made it soon after the concert started. I was in such pain, I could hardly stand it. The dr. said my feeling would come back around bedtime...nope, try 10 minutes after we left his office. Well, my finger still felt numb but the pain was there. Valery texted me during the concert being witty and making me laugh. I am so grateful to her because it helped me take my mind off the pain a little. Shortly after we got home, Valery showed up at the door with a card and some Phish Food from Bart and her. Thanks!!!

Signs of Spring

I decided I better grab my camera and take a few pictures at the garden center before all the hanging baskets were gone. This is after a bunch were taken, but there were still enough left to photograph. Oh, how I loved this look! Now they are all taken down, the only ones left are on the beds.

Valery told me she had something to show me. I followed her to a hanging strawberry plant and saw this:

Isn't it cute? She said the mother dive bombed her and her daughter. I didn't see the mother and she didn't see me as I was taking these pictures thank goodness. I don't think she would have been too pleased.
All the signs of spring are around the garden center. If only the weather would cooperate!

Photographing People Part 3

Stacy and I finished our last class of Photographing People with Kenneth Linge on Saturday. It was strictly hands on all day. Kenneth and MaryLyn would walk around to the different groups and give pointers. The day started out rainy, but turned out to be quite nice.

This is just one of my many pictures. Check out My Photoblog for more, I even snuck a photo of Stacy in the studio while are model was changing. Also check out Stacy's Blog for her pictures from the day.
