In the Garden

Brockton looked out the window and saw a football in the backyard. He called for me to come and see. He wanted to go out and get it, so out we went. I put him on the trampoline to jump for a little bit. Then he saw the horses a couple of houses down. I turned to look and saw a baby horse. We went in the house and grabbed Grandpa and the camera.

Look how cute - the baby walking under his mom.

Back in our yard, Brockton found a flag and carried it around for awhile.

He went out to the dirt in the garden so I took a picture of his cute little feet.

He went back to the grass while I took a few pictures of things in the garden. I turned around and there he was picking flowers. What a cutie!

Back out to the garden.

Sticking the flag in the ground.

He crouched down and played in the dirt awhile before deciding to

sit down and play. Here he is pouring dirt over his feet.

He kept pouring dirt on himself then dusting it off.

Throwing it in the air.

I decided to take a picture of the dirt in his hair as we headed back to the house.

Easter Weekend

It was COLD on Saturday for the Easter Egg hunts, so Cody and Stephanie decided to take Brockton to a local grocery store. The aisle was filled with shredded paper on each side with Candy hidden beneath. Brockton was so excited he had a hard time waiting. When he could finally go, we were dismayed to see him start picking up handfulls of the paper and putting it into his basket. We went into the aisle to show him the candy and tell him to get that instead of the paper.

He saw the candy and didn't want anything to do with it. I picked up a piece and gave it to him and told him to put it in his basket. He did, then went right back to the shredded paper. He loved it!

Here he is putting it on his daddy's head.

And throwing it into the air.

He didn't get much candy. We put a few pieces into his basket since he wouldn't, but didn't want to help too much.
Afterwards, I took Brockton home with me, so I could take him to a local city's Easter Egg hunt.

Picking up an egg to put in his basket.

Heading off to the playground after the hunt which lasted less than a minute.

I told him to stop and pose for a picture.

Reaching the playground. He didn't care that it was freezing cold outside. We only stayed a few minutes.

March 21

The family decided to get together for family game night. Everyone came, but Dallan and Marinda both only came for a short time. Brockton found these cute pink glasses and put them on.

I also found this candy necklace and put it on him and showed him that it was candy. He liked it and ended up eating quite a bit of it.

We didn't end up playing any games. We had a barbecue then started watching Minute to Win It on tv. We'd never seen it before, so the kids wanted to watch it instead of playing games. Cody and Stephanie decided it was time to go home since Brockton hadn't taken a nap that day. I told Cody to try the Oreo cookie blueprint on Minute to Win It. He did pretty good. Brockton thought it was great fun and put his Oreo on his face like his daddy.
