Hanging out with the Uncles

Cody and Stephanie went on a cruise in April, so Brockton stayed with us for awhile. Dallan came for a visit, so Dallan, Jace and I took Brockton to the park.

Bubbles

Popcorn Popping

Last month, I pointed out the window and showed Brockton the popcorn popping on my peach trees. He was excited! We drove to Santa Monica Pizza for dinner with his parents. When we pulled up, I sang "Popcorn popping on the Apricot Tree." We went in the restaurant, but soon he was running for the door so he could go back outside and see the popcorn on the tree. He wasn't very pleased when he discovered that the tree was not covered with popcorn after all, only "flowers." Now when I sing the song he'll tell me, "No... flowers." Sometimes followed by "Silly Grandma."
